Email vidhub@mobilealchemy.co. Please include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, VidHub version (Settings → About) and, for playback problems, the file format.

Connect a NAS or computer (SMB, WebDAV)

  1. Open the Browse tab and tap +.
  2. Choose SMB or WebDAV (Synology and fnOS are listed under NAS), or tap a server VidHub found on your Wi-Fi.
  3. Enter the address, user name and password. For SMB you can leave the share empty and pick it from a list.

Can't connect? Check that the iPhone and the server are on the same network, that file sharing (SMB) is turned on for that user on the server, and that VidHub has Local Network access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.

Connect Jellyfin, Emby or Plex

Tap + in Browse → Media Servers, enter your server address (for example http://192.168.1.10:8096 or your HTTPS address) and sign in. Media servers need VidHub Pro.

Subtitles

Put the subtitle file in the same folder as the video with the same name (for example Movie.mkv and Movie.srt); VidHub picks it up automatically. Tracks inside the file appear under Subtitles & Audio in the player. To shift timing, use the subtitle delay setting.

A video won't play

VidHub picks Apple's player for MP4/MOV and a VLC-based engine for other formats, and switches automatically if one fails. If a file still won't play, email us the format and where it is stored.
